Catholic Tour 3 Countries 

Day 1 

Arrival at Amman Airport. Meet and assist by your Jordanian Tour guide and driver. Proceed to Mount Nebo, and then proceed to Madaba to visit the Church with the mosaic of Jerusalem map from the 6th century. Transfer to your hotel in Petra for check-in and Dinner.

Day 2

Check out Hotel. Tour inside the Lost City of Petra with a horseback ride through the picturesque SIQ, and visit treasury. Drive to Amman the Capital of Jordan for a short visit. Check-in Hotel and Dinner.

Day 3

After Breakfast check out Hotel and transfer to Sheik Hussein Border for crossing into Israel. Move on to Mount Tabor where the Transfiguration event took place(ascending by minivans to the summit to visit the Church. Proceed to  Nazareth the town where the Word of God became flesh when God has sent his Archangel Gabriel to Mary to announce her the good news. In Nazareth, we will visit the Basilica of the Annunciation Church which is built above the house of Mary. In the same compound there is the Church of St. Joseph, which is called also the Holy Family Church is believed according to the traditions to be built above the real house of St. Joseph after coming back from Egypt. Check-in Hotel in Nazareth for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 

After breakfast, we drive to Cana of Galilee to visit the Wedding Church where we will have the opportunity to renew the marriage vows.  In Cana Jesus performed his first miracle of turning water into wine during the wedding. Proceed to the Sea of Galilee Area to visit Capernaum the town where Jesus made His home after leaving Nazareth – Tabgha Church where Jesus fed the 5000(multiplication of the bread and fish) – Mt. of Beatitudes where Jesus said the blessings – the Primacy Church of Peter – Sailing on Jesus boat replica. Back to your hotel in Nazareth.

Remark: On this day we might have the opportunity to eat St. Peter’s fish in one of the good restaurants on the seashores of the Sea of Galilee. 

Day 5

After breakfast check out the hotel. Drive to Mt. Precipice in Nazareth to catch the beautiful view of the Jezreel valley, Mt. Carmel ridge, Samaria, Gilboa ridge, Mt. Tabor, the Village of Nain where Jesus resurrected the widow’s son and the area of the Jordanian Mountains. Drive to Haifa city to visit the Church of Stella Maris and the Bahai Gardens overlooking the Haifa Bay – Akko and the border between Israel and Lebanon. Continue to Caesarea which was built in the Year 22 B.C by King Herod the Great to visit the aqueduct and the Roman Theater. In Caesarea St. Paul has imprisoned and also the first gentile Cornelius was baptized by Peter. Afterwards, we continue to Bethlehem to check in our hotel.

Day 6

After breakfast we drive to Mt. of Olives in Jerusalem to visit the Chapel of Ascension – Pater Noster Church – The beautiful panoramic view of the old city of Jerusalem – The Palm Sunday route  - Dominus Flevit Church where Jesus wept – The Garden of Gethsemane and Church. Later on, we continue to Mt. Zion to visit the Upper Room – King David Tomb – The Dormition Church and the St. Peter in Gallicantu Church the place where Peter denied Jesus 3 times before the rooster crows. Drive to Bethlehem to visit the Shepherds Field and the Birthplace of Jesus Christ (the Nativity Church). Back to the hotel for Dinner and overnight.

Day 7 

After breakfast we go to visit the Old City of Jerusalem(inside the walls): The pools of Bethesda and St. Anne Church  – the Via Dolorosa and the Holy Sepulcher Church(the Golgotha and the tomb of Jesus, etc) – the Wailing Wall. In the afternoon we drive to Ein Karem to visit St. John the Baptist Church and the Church of Visitation where the Blessed Virgin Mary visited Elizabeth her relative.Back to hotel

Day 8

Check out the hotel and drive to Jericho to visit the oldest city in the world with 10000 years of history. We will have a panoramic view of Mt. of Temptation and we will see the replica of the sycamore Tree to remember the short man Zacchaeus who was the tax collector. We continue to the Baptismal site “Qaser el yahoud” where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, later on, we will have a break at the Dead Sea to try floating on the surface of the water(the Dead Sea is the lowest spot in the world and the salinity is around 33% ). Drive to the checkpoint between Israel and Egypt(Taba) for your tour in Egypt. Crossing Taba Border and meet with your Egyptian tour guide and the driver who will take you to your hotel in St. Catherine. Check-in hotel for Dinner and overnight.

Day  9

In the early morning, we will climb up Mt. Sinai where the ten commandments were given to Moses. On return, we will have a hotel breakfast and check out. Visit St. Catherine Monastery then travel to Cairo passing through Moses Springs and Suez Canal. Check into a hotel in Cairo for two nights.

Day 10

After breakfast, we will visit the Egyptian Museum where you can see the finest displays of artifacts – Relics, Statues and Jewelers from all the Pharaohs Reigns.

Then drive to the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. You will also visit the Church of the Virgin Mary – St. George Coptic Church – St. Sergius Church and Citadel then visit Khan El Khalili Bazar for shopping. In the evening we will have Dinner in Cruise Boat at Nile River with a Belly Dancing show.

Day 11

Check out the hotel then transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight back home.
